14BFF Carrier Question

14 Bolt Full Floater, 10.5" Ring Gear...

Will a 4.10 ring gear fit onto a carrier with a 4.56 ring gear? And what is a reasonable price to pay for an open carrier?

4.10/4.56 is the break for the 14FF carrier. So 4.10's won't work on a 4.56 carrier.

I've had a difficult time finding a 4.56 carrier here in Denver. I think I paid $125 for one. The 4.10 and larger carriers are dime a dozen...

I bought an open carrier at the "you pull it" jukyard for $10. You can use one out of a 2WD 14FF too, they are pretty common.
