14BFF pinion gear ?

I have currently have a 14bff with 4:10's in my truck and I'm working on installing a D60 front axle from a DRW truck. The 60 has 4:56's so I also took the 14bff rear. Seeing that both 4:10 and 4:56 gears have a 41 tooth ring gear can I just swap out the 4:10 10 tooth pinion for the 4:56 9 tooth pinion and be done ?

Sorry, I initially was just going to type "X2" as my response, quoting you. I decided to type something else and forgot that I was still quoting you. What you said is 100% correct.
