14bff swap question?

I didn't need to change anything except the ujoint at the pinion end of the driveshaft when I installed my 14bff. The stock driveline worked fine.

The reason I ask is because i am going to get a cv shaft made that is going to be hooked up to the 12bolt for now, but when i put the 14bolt in i want to make sure that i can use the same driveline.
 
i just swapped out my 10 bolt for a 14 and it was the exact same length.

no driveline issues atall, besides the conversion ujoint

X2. My buddy just swapped his 10 bolt out for a 14 bolt in his 84 K5. All he needed was the conversion joint. It's the same for 12 bolts too.
 
same here. but i did eventually move the axle back 1.5" with the ORD zero rates so i orderend a driveshaft that was 2" longer and its all good. if your going to keep the same suspension and not move the axle then you will be just dandy...
