I called my local spring shop to get u-bolts for a 14bff axle I have.Well,I don't have any u-bolts(which is why I was calling them)and apparently if I don't have one for them to match and I don't know the size by heart then I'm "sh*t outta luck."Would anybody happen to know the dimensions(or have a diagram) of said u-bolts with the assumption of springs with 4" of lift on a K5?

thay must be stupid then. if thay look in there dayton spring book it gives all the spring specs and ubolt sizes for stock stuff. we did this all the time at my old job at a spring shop.

when ever i call the spring shop to get u bolts, i tell them what size i need, they ask what year make and model with what axles and they tell me the correct size (i usually have one dimention wrong). it always fits just like the factory ubolts.

5/8" bolt to fit 3 3/8" tube 10" long.
