I have a 14bff with 4.56 and a detroit locker. I was going to put it on my truck, but my plans have changed. I bought it about a year ago. I spent 3 hours yesterday grinding / scrapping / cleaning the thing, and just put a fresh coat of black on it.... It looks really good.

The axle currently has no brakes.

I will sell the axle with no brakes for 325.00. I found (2) links too people that are selling complete brakes for a 14bff for arouund 100.00:

and

325 + 100 = One badass axle / 425

Part number on gears is 1 GM 327723 9 41 11 85

9 41 = 41/9 = 4.56 gears

11/85 = date of manufacture (month and year)

I can't believe no one would want this! Too bad it's two months too late; I installed new 4.56 gears and a new Detroit on my 14bff, back in the beginning of May. Free bump

Detroit

I'll buy the detroit if you decide to part out.
