14blt bearing question

So, I was just reading this post http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=227720

and saw the part where it says not to pack the bearings... Well, not knowing this I packed teh bearings in mine yesterday. What will this cause? DO I need to tear it back down, or will I be okay?

You'll be fine, its just not necessary to pack them.

Grease and gear lube do not mix very well. If it were me i would clean it out, but that's just me.

The way I see it is the bearings will either see grease or gear oil, both will lube the bearings just fine.

Yes both would lube just fine but best not to do it together.
