That is the factory unit. Whether or not it is really a locker can be disputed. That is undoubtably a Gov-Lok. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

and what gear oil must i use ?

regular gear oil is fine but you do need to put in a "friction modifier". The stuff is available at your local GM dealer and many 4x4 shops. The abilities of a gov-loc often leave a little to be desired.
