well, i've swapped gears in my 14blt once already, but it was between two 88up ones with fins on'em. can I take the whole carrier and pinion setup out of a earlier one and swap it into my 89 housing, or is the bearing in the housing for the pinion end different? i'd be using the whole pinion assembly.

The carrier will work, done it before. I do know that there are at least 3 different sets of pinion bearings though. I think that the inner is the only difference but don't quote me on that.
thanks, I'm thinking it will swap over, I think the gears are the same between right? I guess i'll have to just try it, unless someone posts up with a definate "no". dont really want to move perches on the other axle and swap over the disk brakes.
