OK, I got some thread lock, I got the govloc welded up and I'm getting ready to mount up the ring gear. What do I torque the ring gear bolts too? Is there a different (longer) set of bolts for the thick gears? Otherwise I'm going to use the bolts that come out.

80ft lbs, tighten like an 8 lug wheel. i think the bolts shouldn't need to be any longer, seeing as "thick gears" are thicker the other way, as in the have a smaller hole in them, to compensate for the smaller diff case, so the bolts won't be different. make sure you got your lock washers on there.

Good thing I'm lazy and didn't bother putting the ring gear back on today! /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif
