Thinking about keeping my burb 6 lug, because i LOVE the way the rallyes look, 'specially since they're painted the same color as my truck. What vehicle can I source a 14bsf 6 lug rear out of?

'preciate it!

88-up 1/2 ton 4wd with trailer tow package

88-up light duty 3/4 ton 6 lug truck 2wd or 4wd.

454ss trucks got 5 lug axle version.

true 4wd axle is a little wider than 2wd axle if i recall correctly from reading others.

and some here i posted before in that thread. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2932926&postcount=24

This is roughly what I found during my research. Basically, the above years seem to be the right era (88-99) but found it best to just go out and measure.

Generally speaking, the 4wd version matches the front 10 bolt width within about 1/2". The 2wd version is about 2" narrower (very similar to the existing 10 Bolt rear).

In all cases, the spring perches will need to be removed and new ones installed as well as new shock mounts.

Hope that helps!
