I changed the bearings not to long ago and put back together. I noticed fluid that had "spun" all over my rear rims. I grabbed a wrenched and found that both rear axles were loose. All the bolts on both sides....is this normal? I am sure I tightened. Even if it was error, both sides would be hard to believe. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I would guess you just undertorqued them. Torque spec on those is 115 ft-lbs.

Just tighten them and watch them next trip. Ive never heard of them loosing, in fact the bolts have a knurled head so they should stay tight.

mine come loose on occasion, just make sure they are tight, and also make sure you have the right gasket.

I use my tire iron/4-way wrench to tighten mine, i just tighten them as i do with the lug nuts. Never had any come loose on me.
