I have seen several Full floating axles that have studs to secure the axle flange to the hub. Is there any REAL advantage of changing out mt bolts to studs with flanged nuts?

Studs with locking nuts are generally better about not backing off, but I have never heard of anyone having problems with these bolts coming loose :dunno:

The only real benefit I can see is not damaging the threads in the hub by repeatedly removing and reinstalling the bolts. Rather the stud would stay put and the threads in the hub would only see rotational force once.

Anyone else have any input?
