Hey rob, figure out a 6 lug conversion and i may be down![]()
It may be a custom spicific for you but totally doable. I doubt I'll do production for 6 lug stuff. Will be all 8 lug stuff. I'm an 8 lugger at hart

Question answered. thank you.
By the way, they look really good. I respect the craftsmanship and ingenuity. I think ultimately, whether or not they're successful depends on price.
Obviously, the best time to put them in would be when you first convert to discs. I wouldn't consider them until I had to replace the rotors. Not because I don't like the idea, just because I'm too lazy to put them in until I'm in there anyway.
You may seriously want to consider pitching this to someone who already sells a disc conversion 'kit' using flat brackets (ORD, GLO, etc). If they decide to use you as a subvendor, or buy the design, you'd probably profit a lot more due to the volume that their marketing already produces.

The only thing I see wrong with this is that when you pitch the idea to someone else whom sells the majority of the parts or kits, they're not gonna want to pay a price then have to add a percentage more for the parts to their own kit in order to make a profit for themselves. Not a bad idea to consider. If time comes and opportunity arises, I would consider that, with stipulations.

In other words, they may as well buy a ring or two and then rob the idea as their own and start mass producing them for cheaper and sell them in their kits then.
Want to prevent this? Get a patent on the rings.
Otherwise I'd just start making caliper mounts and the rings to sell as another kit out there on the market.
So their only advantage is that they're shiny? Not trying to be a dick, but that's a hard pitch.

The main advantage is not having to pound out the wheel studs to replace the rotors. You remove the hub/rotor assembly, unbolt the rotor, bolt new one on and your done. No BFH necessary to deal with. They're also a bad ass piece of beautiful machined art. Like any machined piece is, so it will automatically make your rig rock crawl better. And go faster too, but for four wheel drives it will make it crawl better too.

Martin, in case you missed it.....
I kind of like this ring idea of yours. I don't see any downside, anyone?
I currently have drums, but I do plan on converting to disc someday. This is something I would consider getting at that time depending on the costI'm always a sucker for shiny, machined billet parts, especially from aluminum.I think it's a cool idea. But these are way too shiny for my rig.I currently have drums, but I do plan on converting to disc someday. This is something I would consider getting at that time depending on the cost
. Price will have to be figured out still, but as a quick guess, maybe something close to wheel spacers. They're about the same thing only different. Some may know I'm going to be starting a small machine shop. Getting a cnc mill. These rings I made, I may start machining them and selling them. Checking intrest. Price is unknown right at the time. Maybe about what a typical wheel spacer runs as a quick guess. That will have to be figured out though to be more spicific.
These were spicifically for a disc brake conversion, It's going to take a while to get up and running, but I want to check intrest on lots of parts before we just go machining stuff.
Then it looks like your not going to be buying them then will you. I'm ok with that.
I wasn't trying to be a dick.
