I remember reading somewhere on here that crew cabs that came with straight six's all had 4.56's in them

True/ false , only if..................

I know of a 2wd 80's CC that has a straight six, not sure if it's a 20 or a 30 but it's SRW and has a FF, it's a parts truck of a neighbors and I could basically get the rear for a song an dance. I need a 4.56 set up to match the 60 I just picked up for the new K5, so what say you CK5ers ?

False. I parted one that had 3.73s in it. The likelihood that it would have lower gears is higher, but not absolute

It was optional. Trucks could be ordered in just about any configuration back then.
