Whatever became of those brackets that you and your friend were developing? 
If you were referring to these brackets:
The couple are still making them, but selling them on eBay. They go by "bulletproofbillets". However, I don't see any brackets up for bids at the moment. If you send them an e-mail, they will be more than happy to sell you some. Just tell them I sent you.

Sheesh, with that much bling on the end of the axle, it kinda sorta makes the rest of the axle look like a hunk of crapola, something like that, i'd personally have to blast and paint or polish up the rest of the axle somehow,,,they are definately nice looking though
You know what the going rate is for those things?
