ok so i got a 88 burb has a 14ff in the rear with disk brakes. sweet :) now my question. when i go to buy new pads for them what ones do i get lol? cant just say they are for a 88 burb......

As long as it doesn't have Caddy calipers just get pads for the front of an 88 burb, if it does have Caddy calipers with the E-brake then you need 76-78 Eldo rear pads.

ebrake is not hooked up but i havent looked into why but i would assume because its not the caddy calipers. but then again you know what they say about assumptions lol they are the mother of all ****ups lol

If the calipers are equipped for e-brake they are 76-78 Caddy Eldo calipers and the pads have to be for that year/model specifically.

Wait so you lose the parking brake when you do the rear disc swap on a 14BFF? That sounds retarded.

Well, considering you lose the drums in favor of rotors the quick answer is yes, BUT if you use 76-78 Caddy Eldo calipers those have an e-brake (some people can't make them work correctly though).
