You'll need u-bolts for a 14ff and the plates, a combination u-joint (someone will have the part number on here). Do you have 8 lug wheels?
some people say you have to do something to the ebrake, but I didn't /forums/images/icons/confused.gif
Did you check the gear ratio?

The Napa part # for the hybred u-joint is 447. You will need new u-bolts, new u-bolt plates, 8 lug wheels. As far as the 350/203, it depends on what trans/t-case you had before. You could need new driveshafts, linkages, shifters, crossmembers, ect.

i j ust got the axles. i got a 14ff and dana 44. they are 4.10. i dont have wheels yet. y cant i just use the u-bolts from the stock 12 bolt? o, will the calipers off of my 10 bolt work on the 44? and will the 44 just bolt right in? thanx for all the help

I believe you can use the 10-bolt calipers on the D44. Should be a bolt-in. You have to get new u-bolts and plates because the axle tubes on the 12-bolt and 14BFF are different sizes.

cool, now, what should the #'s b on the ring gear for it to b 3.73? im tryin to sell my old axles to my neighbor but dont know the ratio? thanx

The part # for the newer style with the inner c-clips is 447. The part # for the older style with the outer snap rings is 348. Just did the swap myself this weekend. 3/4 ton 14b FF from a '77, and I needed part #348. $27.
