15\" wheel?

Another silly question from a newbie I know /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif other than going disc brakes is there anyway to use a 15" wheel on a 14BFF? Thanks in advance /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: 15\" wheel?

Disk brakes on a 14BFF using 15" wheels is easy. The calipers and rotors sit further inboard than the front so very little if any grinding is necessary. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

In my case I had to grind the casting flash off of one rear caliper. The other was fine. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Re: 15\" wheel?

Cool so its just the grinding on the caliper to make fit. I may wait to do my lift and continue running my like new 33x12.5x15s for a while longer. Now I just need a set of 8 lug 15 inchers. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I think the OP wanted to use 15" wheels on the drums.

Ah yes....you are correct sir. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

As already stated, 15" rims will fit on a 14BFF reagardless of the brakes (disk or drum). /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Re: 15\" wheel?

Yeah, Summit Rules. I ordered some 15x10 white wagon wheels for my S10 Blazer back when I was building it. That was a pretty sweet truck 305/TH350, 3inch body lift and alot of cutting to clear the 33s. also sawzalled the top off like the big boys. Now I have a fullsize I don't miss the little guy as much!
