Is there any chance in hell that a set of 15" 8-lug rims would clear the brakes on my '00 2500 Burb? Maybe some mild grinding for clearance? I was thinking of running a set of 15x8's with 4" backspacing.
Where are you going to find those wheels? Is there any chance in hell that a set of 15" 8-lug rims would clear the brakes on my '00 2500 Burb? Maybe some mild grinding for clearance? I was thinking of running a set of 15x8's with 4" backspacing.
Where are you going to find those wheels?
I have been looking for a few years and I can't even find them new
I really wanted a set but now I have a set of 6.5" wide that are trailer wheelsI've got a set of them, not sure how old they are or the maker. I got them as extras with a truck I bought earlier this year. Just your basic 'wagon' type wheel.

I could see them but when I ordered them they either said out of stock or they never shipped
I used to find them all the time 3,4 years ago.Summit shows at least 20 different 15" wheels with 8 lugs that are in stock, and probably 20 more that are 2-4 weeks out. I've had four different sets:
-2 sets of 15x10 w/ 4.25" backspace - used these on an 8-lug 10-bolt front and 14FF rear, required moderate grinding on the front to fit. Bought one set off of Jegs or Summit, and the second set came with a used set of Swampers I bought. One set was white spoke and the other chrome spoke
- 15x8 w/ 2.75" backspace - used these when I went to a D60 front, required just a few touchups on the caliper to clear, basically cleaning up the casting flash. Bought them from 4 Wheel Parts and they are black modulars, and are a reverse backspacing wheel (meaning the rim shell is reversed, when you mount the tires you mount them from the backside of the rim now)
- 15x10 w/ 3.5" backspace - these are beadlocks that came with another set of used tires I bought, so not sure what brand they are...but they were bought as beadlocks and not the hillbilly weld-on beadlocks or anything. These required light to moderate grinding on the D60 front to clear.
