wheels that is.. right now i have 15x10 steelies with 38.5x15x15 boggers. im getting ready to go 3/4 ton, so i have to buy new wheels. i noticed that the center part of the tread on my tires seem to stick up alittle more than i like, and they are wearing faster than the rest. so my question is, since i am in the market for new/different wheels, if i got 15x12 wheels, would that pull the center of the tire down and make the foot print more even or flat across?

You may be running too much air pressure. Most of the tire manufacturers will probably tell you to stay within 2" of each other if memory serves. There are many on here running a much greater split than that. I'm one of them.

i keep letting out pressure but i cant seem to get the center down. im down to about 8-9 psi right now . for some reason, the front tires dont seem as bad as the rear?

Looks like yours sees some road time so that's probably not a safe pressure to run at. You may have to go to a wider wheel to correct it beyond this point.

Rear tires have less weight over them so the ballooning effect is worse.

the only thing that ive found that sucks is the wheel selection, or lack there of. ive only found 2 styles that are 15x12 for a chevy 8 lug pattern. i think im goina end up going with the series 87 from procomp

no offence but if your worried about wear then you should have bought boggers...
No offense, but that's just an ignorant statement. Sure, there are tires that wear much better than boggers. But if you run boggers, why wouldn't you do whatever you can to make sure you get as much life out of them as possible? Even if he didn't have boggers and it was a different brand of 15" wide tire, the uneven wear issue would be the same.

A bias ply is always going to looked rounded, or ballooned, at the tread surface, that's just the nature of that type of tire structure (where as the contruction of a radial allows it to be more squared off/flat).

You should be fine with a 10" wheel, and Interco even put the recommend rim width of 10 to 12" on the specs. I just really doubt you will get any better tire wear by going to 12" wide rims, in fact the tire wear could be even worse on the front as wide rims tend to exaggerate any alignement issues and can cause the tires to cup more on the front.
