15x8 vs. 15x10

Someone school me on 15x8 vs. 15x10 rim sizes. I am going to be running a 33x12.5 tire. Which one is better? Do most rims use stock backspacing unless otherwise stated?

i have 2 sets of rims i like the 10 in ones better, made the tires look bigger, and the stance wider, but then again backspacing played a role in that.

The tire will run taller and narrower on a skinny rim. If you run them on a wider rim, they will run shorter and wider.

they will be aired down most of the time too. looks like the 15x8 would be a better choice. thanks for the input. should i just stick with the stock backspacing?

I am sticking with stock backspacing. It helps fender clearance, scrub radius, and wheel bearing life.

i like 15x8 better myself on a 12.5 inch tire.it peotects the rim more and i think looks better.i have standard bs also for said reasons.
