16.5 valve stem problems...

i have a set of 16.5x9.75 wheels that im putting my tsls on...im doing it mostly at home (cleaning wheels and putting in stems) then ill mount the tires at work.

ok the d*mn valve stems that i had in my tool box didnt work. (standard chromeys) so i grabbed 2 (high pressure chevy) valve stems today at work..

i get home all excited and BAM they fit WORSE than the standard chrome theyre skinnyer....

anyhelp? do i need to order like "special" oversize valve stems?

you need some "fat bottoms"... they are available at the parts stores... they are obviously larger than the other ones...

you prob have old school fat hole rims. you need the fat valve steams.

IIRC the valve size is #408.

thanks guys! im taking the wheel into work today to try and find one that fits, and if not ill see if we can order the right ones.
