Just ordered my tires, I am eventually going h1's but for now just need a 16.5 wheel any suggestions

I just got a set of Procomp Rock crawlers series 52 16.5x9.75 w/ 4.5 back spacing to replace my recentered H1s. I looked for awhile to find a 16.5 wheel hoping i would find something different, but there just isn't a whole lot of variety that i could find for this size

Ya, I'm running a single rear wheel hub 60. I was really wondering about backspacing. Do i need anything special?

i got keystone steely rims.wagon wheel style for 50 dollars apiece delivered to the store i bought them from.16.5 x 8.25 for 35x12.5 tires.4 inch backspace puts it right about the stock spot.

I'm runnin a tsl/sx 43/14.50/16.5 would i need a 10/ or 12 wide rim? I guess a 4 inch backspace would still be right.
Thanks

with that wide a tire,i wouldnt run anything under 10 inches wide.if you like the more flat wide apearance a 12 inch wide rim would do that.i personnally like to have the lil overhang of the tire to protect the rim more.id go with a 16.5 x 10 for that tire and 5 inch bs to keep the tire under the fender a lil better and keep bearing wear a lil better.just measure and make sure that will not hit anything underneith like the steering components or body/spring mounts.with that big a tire, you probly have figured that out already with lift and all to get it to fit.

I wouldn't run anything wider than 10". Part of the decision comes down to what you will be using the truck for. Mainly off-road and I would be tempted to get the 8-8.25" wide versions as they keep the bead better and less chance to beat the lip up on trail obstacles.

Several guys in our club, including myself, run 15.5" wide tires with 8" rims (this includes 35, 39.5, and 42" tires) and they work really good off-road.
