Ok, I tried search while ago when I was a member, didn't find what I was looking for. Now I noticed that search doesn't work, so I'm renewing my membership soon.

But, the problem. I have 37x12.5/16 Maxxis Creepy's on 11x16 rims. Centers were cut off when I bought that set, and I need to weld them back. What BS I should go? I could go with test and try method, but my Suburban is in pieces around my property, so that would be quite hard. 4.25" or even 5"?

I was going to change rims because 11" is too wide to go with weld-on beadlocks with 12.5" tire. But then I realized that I'm better go with wider tread, because Suburban is going to be rather heavy, and terrain is soft enough to sink lighter vehicles. I'm going to trade those 12.5 tires to 14.5 wide, 37" or 38" tall, which ever is available at the moment. 39,5x18 Bogger would be better, but not available for 16" rim

you can get the bogger in a 38.5X15 for the 16" wheel. As far as backspacing I wouldn't go more than 4.25. 3.75 would be the least backspace I would go

Thanks, 4.25 it is. Now I can build a jig to weld those wheels together.

Quick look at local dealers sites, and none of them stock 38,5x15/16 Bogger. And that's numeracally only 1/2" wider than Creepy (what's actual difference?). I talked about this with my brother, and decided to go with Creepys, because they don't wear as quickly as Boggers on pavement, and in here it's thought to be a good all around tire.

An 11" wide wheel would look cool on a 37" tire. Id like to know where to get them. How much does widening cost?
