I don't suppose they allow a longbox in there now do they? IIRC it used to be a 107" wheelbase limit but I see a shortbox made the trip too.

This run was by FAR the most fun I've ever had in my truck.

Anytime you guys want to do it again, LET'S DO IT!!

I felt a little out-trucked on this last run though. Some of you smaller guys with carburators have to come so at least I'm not the only one struggling. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

ANY weekend I'm not at drill I'm up for a Badlands run.

No wheelbase limit.

A longbox rig would probably help in most areas.

Although it's tough for me to make it between the trees even with crossover steering and 119" of wheelbase.

There is no wheelbase limit. Some areas a long bed will help, some it will hurt. Making the turns will be a problem on some trails, especially if you don't want dents or scratches.

I've been talking to a couple TT members..
and they wanna go to TOP TRUCK...in aug.

We've been thinking about getting there a couple days
early...runnin' some trails..
then..watching the top trucks run..
but nothing set in stone..

There is a tentatively schedualed trip for the weekend of the 24th in July. The trails will be open but the rock quarry will closed for the UROCK rock crawl. I think they are planning on watching the urock stuff and doing a couple trails that day.
