16" wheels on k30 axles?

Will 16" wheels clear the axles out of an 82 k30? I'm looking to downgrade from the 20s and 38s on the truck now to a set of 16s and 35-37" tire and drop some lift from the suspension (down to 4-6" instead of 9").

you should be fine with 16's, I ran a set for a while and lot's of others have as well.

16's fit my D60 and big brake drum 14 bolt just fine. No grinding at all.

Yes. 15’s are do-able with grinding (extent dependent on wheel backspacing). No grinding is needed for 16’s

16" was the stock size on these trucks so yes
