i have been searching for days and can't find a really good answer yet. Seems like I've read here and other places that factory backspace on these trucks was 4". The 15x10's that are on it know are 4" backspace.

I bought 37x12.5x17 tires for the truck and would like to order wheels this week. Looking for something like the M/T classic aluminum wheels or another brand but all i can find is 4.5" not sure if 4.5 will be to much and rub the tie rods?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Several on here including myself are running H2 rims, they are 17x8.5. I'd run the 17x9" with the 12.5wide tires. They won't balloon but also won't give it that rolled sidewall, low rider look.

As far as back spacing, I can't remember right off but I think these are 5.25" tucked in a bit, they are close to my tie rods, but don't rub. You should be fine with the 4.0-4.5 although the further you stick them out, the higher the probability of rubbing the fenders.

I had to trim the lower, rear corner when I ran a 3.75" back spaced wheel. Only at stuff and turn situations though.

Wonder if the 3/4 & 1tons rears are any wider than the factory Dana in my truck?
Think I might order the 4.5" backspace M/T classic's tonight since it's about all I can find

Went with 17x9 M/T classic III's with 4.5" backspacing. I wouldn't want the wheels any farther under the truck.
