I dont have a problem with donating to keep a site running but cant find myself paying for info sharing. all my knowlege is free and parts and other various items i have or know where to find are free as well. nice site though and no disrespect meant. just my opinion. it and 1.00 will buy you a coke from a vending machine

If you are in or near Little Rock, there is a place on I-30 that is an aftermarket truck parts dealer. I forget the name now. It is between Benton and Little Rock on the East bound side of I-30. You can get a complete door shell, brand new for under $100.

it doesn't cost to share your info and knowledge, but a well maintained organized place to do it does. Stop and figure out how much you can save by just using the search function one time instead of buying a book or screwing something up. There are members here that have some kind of expertise or experience with just about anything you can imagine. It's a no brainer and well worth my dime. Just my 2 cents.

As one of the lucky ones here, I did win one of monthly give aways, which paid me back for one year, and will pay for another. Won a t-shirt too, some money value there too since it's a shirt I didn't have to buy. But even better yet, I've made alot of contacts/friends I never would have had I not become a member. Can't buy that from a coke machine.
when I got on here I thought the same thing. why pay for this when I could get it for free but after paying Ive realized how much it was worth it. Ive learned so much from here and its nice to have piece of mind that if I screw something up then there is gonna be someone here to advise me on how to fix it. not to mention Ive got some pretty good deals on parts through here.

you're absolutely right. why buy a shiny new Duramax truck when you can get an old rusted out half running Chevy LUV for free? you get what you pay for.
