186" wheelbase what truck?

brotherin law is looking at a truck in the paper 95 chevy 3500 cab and chassis, says its a 186" wheel base, he wants to know would this be a ext cab? i cant remember but i dont think they were still makeing the crew cabs then.

Most likely a regular cab...

For C&C there were alot of available wheelbases, especially for things like dump bodys/ car haulers etc

That's one long a$$ truck, my old 91 crew cab had a 164" wb.

that's a huge wheelbase. The suburban is 129 and the crew cab long beds are around 165-ish I believe.

Could be a typo.

Crewcabs for 73-91 were 164.5", which are looooong, especially with the overhang of the longbed.

The newest stuff I have paperwork for is the 1990 NBS, and the longest WB then was ~159".

Since it's C&C, could be anything ... maybe it had a box on it, who knows?

Oh, the VIN would tell, but if you gotta contact the seller to get the VIN, you can ask what the cab is like

It could easily be 186, ive seen a few, usually with flat beds (like car haulers)

talked to the guy turns out to be a one ton cubevan with the box pulled off.

man that is a long ass truck.
