1941 Ford Special

The block is still at the shop so I’ll give them another week and then start bugging them. I found some NOS .083” pistons so if the block is good I’ll snatch those up, then get the crank checked. If I can find a 59A/B crank I’ll use that instead for the insert bearings.

Been a while but the flathead block is good, had it cleaned and pressure checked, line honed and valve seats done. Its too pricey to rebuild so I’ve IMG_5517.jpegIMG_5507.jpegIMG_5286.jpegIMG_5285.jpegIMG_5282.jpegIMG_5279.jpegIMG_5272.jpegcollected a couple of 283’s to get the thing rolling and hot rod it like its 1963.
