1948 panel wheeler. The end of an error.

Collecting parts with no real plan for the end. I just know I'm not cool without an LS swap and tons.
Man I hate when that happens....two weeks later I’ve needed things that I threw out after decades.

Yep. Drivers window and a back window are broken. So good to go.

I had the front doors tied together though the drivers window. I went around a right turn getting off of the freeway and the left door opens. Got home and saw that the window had broke more. So somewhere is a piece of 1948 glass on the freeway.

Way cool dude. Those are really different trucks as that one has a longer wheelbase than the passenger Suburbans of the same era. Lots more room inside to build out for comfort. It should have a wooden floor like a truck bed behind the front seats too.

Buddy of mine is doing same body style . Cut and chop 4 door . Then cut and chop 12 to 15inch wider. and with a 2ton up to start truck . Plan is f-550 4x4 axles and radius arm coil front and 2 drives rear with 4 link or radius arm .

It has most of the wood floors. Going metal.

That is a lot of work to make look correct.

I want it narrow for wheeling. I also need to be able to drive it to Moab and Arizona. 80mph on the freeway.

He said on the phone that its rustier than it looks
