1956 Suburban

Just getting started on what will be at first just an interior cleanup and paint along with minor mechanical issues. Mostly all stock 1956 Chevy Suburban. Was originally issued and used as an ARMY signal corps vehicle. Didn’t get a whole lot of use as the guy I purchased it from got it from the army with only 2600 miles on it. Looking at seat and pedal conditions I’d say that was a pretty accurate number. Only thing that he did was swap the rear end for. ‘78 Army Blazer 3.08 posi. For starts I am just planning on cleaning and painting the interior and addressing some minor mechanical issues. Then just drive her. View attachment 365468View attachment 365469

I am looking for a 48 to 54 panel suburban. But I will heavily modify it. I love old long roof trucks.
