MS 1962 3/4 ton 4x4 $8000

I’m not sure about that... I had a 65 GMC and it was a Napco.

I could be wrong :dunno:. I thought the early 60s trucks gm started making the 4x4 themselves. But maybe it's the 67-72 that were the first factory ones.

I would never say you are wrong. I don’t know for sure. I do remember a lot of 60s Chev 4x4s when i was a kid. 67 was factory for sure.
I remember mine had Napco on some dash tags. I wish I kept the truck, or at lest took way more pics! I think I’ve got one crappy pic of it from the late 80s parked in the back yard under a tree! :haha:

1959 and older were NAPCO. Gm started to make thier own in 1960. 1/2 and 3/4 were GM built. The 1 tons were built by NAPCO. It was that way thru the late 60s, and thought I read it somewhere up to the mid 70s, before GM started making their own 1 tons. Again, I read it somewhere that the 67-72s NAPCO's had divorced t-cases, we all know 1/2 and 3/4 tons were married. Pre-66s all had divorced cases. Cool truck tho, only thing I don't like is the long box step side.
