Sold 1964 C10 longbed for sale. $1000

It sounds like all of us are on the same time table so unless Greg jumps on it I’m ok holding position for the time being.

Sounds good guys.
And you’re right money talks!

Its a 230, the 250 came out in ‘65 and the 292 was a GMC only I believe. No idea on the heater box, what you see is all I know about it.
Dont matter whats init now, Ive got a 454/400/D70 combo itchin for some action again.
If anybody can get to it for some more pics that would be awesome. Hood looks decently straight and the driver side too. Im just wondering about those floopans and under body structure?
Probably would need a new boxed frame from Kert too!

I'm tentatively (depending on what condition our country is in) picking it up in late April.
Can anyone in KS help w the title info? I imagine like most states the secretary of state (title agency) is shutdown for an undetermined amount of time. The title has the name of a deceased owner on it, not related to eodcoduto or his aunt. His uncle bought the truck, but never transferred the title to his name, and is deceased also. Anyone know What needs to be done to make the title legal to purchase it from eodcoduto?

Uh... Pencil in the name on the title, and call it a day..... Not like they can check forgeray with a dead guy..

What would that involve? Im not familiar with those

I've been fortunate in that I've not had to do it myself. However, my understanding is that it works similar to title insurance on real estate. The company's that do it basically do a title search, and verify that there's no current registration, etc and file the necessary forms and you get a title.

As I said, I've never done it. Looked into some time ago for a vehicle I was looking at buying, but didn't. There will be a cost, but I don't remember how much.

The problem I had with one bonded title was, they found an heir to the titled, deceased owner, after I had paid for the car nd the bond. I got the bond back but was out the payment for the car. The heirs wanted it back. Papa's 57 chevy rust bucket. That was a $500 lesson that tought me to never do it again.

If the title is so easy to get, the seller should clear first.

I might have signed a few since then.

thanks for the info guys, but dam, bonding starts at $250? *&^# that!

You might be able to file for it yourself and save some money. On a truck I was looking at spending several thousand on $250 wasn't gonna make or break it. I was looking at using a company to save me time and make it easier.

Zim you know your state and what they are looking for.
If it was me, ( in IL they pretty much don't care. It's needs to signed and dated. )
I would sign the name and not worry about it.
(If you feel like your local DMV won't care)
