1969 Buick Wildcat Custom build. Sold it.

I remember reading all about the water injection systems back in the day...then nothing? Seemed so promising, and probably still is. I think you're right though...the thought of putting water into the engine on purpose just seems wrong.

Are they reputable?
Yes, they are pretty much the best in the water injection market.
As least as far as I know.
I have a couple of friends with turbo diesels running snow stuff. Seems like good stuff to me.

Probably other companies out there that put out products, but I think Snow is the most common.

And bully dog

Went to pull the buick into the barn. Did not want to start. Needed a lot of pedal pumping. Brand new accelerator pump seal seams to have taken a dump.

But when it backfired through the carb, the fuel gauge started working.???????

Lots of guys used to run them on 6.5 Diesel Chevys.
That and or propane.

You really think less than 30,000 miles Wade?

Yes. I have an affidavit from the lady I bought it from stating it was parked in 1992. And never moved.

I have all repair and maintenance receipts and the original bill of sale. I made a list in Word but can not find the file now. Will scan the print out and post it up later.

Cool if you have the maintenance stuff from day one showing the mileage and stuff! A little over 1000 miles a year while it was "in service"...crazy!

Almost put a water injection on my firebird. When I got it, the compression ratio was up around 11:1 w/ the head/piston combo on an old school iron poncho 400. Crap AZ gas would ping the crap out of it. Ended up swapping heads instead.

Water injection was used on aircraft in WW2 to help /w all the boost that was added. It's good stuff, but you need to make sure the water is atomized well or it doesn't do what its supposed to. Decent pressure and nozzles are needed.
