1969 Buick Wildcat Custom build. Sold it.

The future goal would be later drive train, so I can hook the 1968 boat on the back and run down the highway at 75mph.

6.0, 4l80e (been done)
5.3, 4l60e (been done)
4.8, 4l60e with a turbo or 2.

No need to be a drag racer or pro street racer. A nice driver is the goal.

My first car I bought at 14 in 1980...a '65 Wildcat.

I wouldn't worry too much about the title unless your state requires it. I just moved from GA and always seemed to be horse trading vehicles. GA doesn't require titles on vehicles that old. I've registered stuff with a bill of sale written on a napkin. The state DMV has an official bill of sale form you can download that will be more than adequate.

Does the '69 still have the switch pitch TH400?

65 to 67 only. So no.

Has a Georgia title. Need to get the VIN verified at a dealership. And a "statement of transfer" signed. Should be good to go.

I'm guessing that's a requirement of wherever you're trying to register it. GA sure doesn't require it. AL does - I was surprised when I moved. I had to get a deputy to come verify everything so I didn't have to make a pile of trips to the tag office just to register everything. The only time I had to get something verified in GA was a homemade trailer. They gave me a VIN tag and had to verify that I'd attached it.

Regardless, love the Buick. That'll be a fun project

Sheriffs office or State Popo can also do a VIN check

Drove a 66 in highschool. Wasn't in high school in 66. Also drove a 59 t-bird. A 23 t-bucket. A 67 Chevy truck. A pan head Harley. And many other cars in high school.

No, I did not use chisel and Hammer to take notes in class.
