1971 Blazer Trim tag ??

Hello All, I am a NewBe here and have a question about a 71 Blazer I just picked up.

I am finding that the original color looks to be Hugger Orange. It seems that this is a rare color, is it.
I don't see the stick on trim tag on the glove box door, is there another location it can be found on the truck.

The truck is 71,V8, Auto, AC, PB, PS,4x4. But I would like to find data on original color.

Glove box door is where the tag should have been. Not sure hugger orange was rare back then but it's pretty popular now. You might try cleaning away some of the dirt on the firewall behind the air cleaner to see if the original color is still there.

It is, The color is under paint throughout the truck.

So they did not have any tag on the firewall.

only tag I know of is the one in the glove box. As far as the color goes mine was originally orange as well. Quite a few of the blazers and trucks around here (Utah) were painted that color so at least here it wasn't rare. That said, I wish I would have kept it orange. I like my yellow, but the orange is pretty sweet.
