Posting this for a good buddy of mine..I was at most of the shows where this thing won stuff, and have known the owners since 1996. I certify this ad to be 100% BS free.

I have my 1971 Chevy Camaro up for sale. This car won multiple Super Chevy shows, Camaro Superfest National shows, and way to many to list other shows before I pulled the car apart a few years back to do a frame off on it and build the pro touring car of my dreams but kids, house payments, career and time have all gotten in the way and now I just want something newer I can just drive around and not have to work on.
The car had a frame off rotisserie restoration of the underside, The car is completely rust free except for one dime size spot in the rear window channel. The car is still about half apart but I have 90% of all the parts to finish it. The motor and trans are in it and is a 350 small block that was professionally rebuilt and has approx. 10,000 miles on it.
I used a kit from summit that was their 300 HP kit when I had the motor assembled by Medina machine shop when they where still in business. The transmission is a turbo 350 that was rebuilt at the same time by Garys Transmissions in Ravenna,
It has a shift kit and 2400 stall convertor. All the chrome on the engine is new (valve covers, alternator bracket, and other misc. parts) and the Edelbrock intake was polished and then coated by Jet Hot. The rearend is a 10 bolt and I think it has a 3:08 gear in it. I have the posi unit for it and was going to rebuild it but never got around to it.
The front suspension is 100% new but is still missing springs and shocks, I was planning on putting air ride on it. It has tubular upper a-arms, and stock lower ones.
The rear suspension is mini tubbed into the stock frame rails to make room for wider tires the frame rails are still in their original location and the frame has been tied with weld in connectors, The rear shocks have been relocated to the inside of the frame rails. I have all the sheet metal except the hood. It is originally a non-RS car but I put split bumpers on the front anyways.
I have the bumpers, trim, gas tank, fenders, doors, glass, lights, center council, shifter, rear seat and just about everything else you would need. The bodywork is straight and needs minimal blocking and paint. Its straight enough now to paint but I would block it one more time to make it perfect before I put final paint on it, there are no dents or dings in it anywhere.
I have no time to finish the project and I want it gone. All the hard work is done and it just needs reassembled and driven. You could eat off of any part of this car, its that clean.
I am asking $8000 firm for this car or possible trade for newer Mustang. I am not interested in trading for another project.
Serious inquires only!!
Call Brian at 330-350-0365 for more info or email me at [email protected]
The car is on stands right now and doesn't roll due to the fact that the suspension is not done so it would have to be carried out and flat bedded home.
The picture was taken a few years back when it was still together.
