In found a 72 k5 on Ebay 350/4speed
what t-case came standerd in 72?
also I have a corp 14 and a corp 10 3/4 ton ft axle
will this fit a 72 or do I need to move all the spring perces
and modify the steering?
Thanks
Bo

Sorry for the stupid questions but all I have ever had are
2nd generation blazers

It should have a np205 fixed yoke t-case.

The front axle will bolt up. Just use calipers for a 69-77 or you will have to chnage the flex lines.

The rear axle will bolt up if it is from a 1-ton. 3/4-ton 14FF's need to have the perches moved in. I don't think any of them will have shock mounts that will work without being moved.

The 10 bolt may not bolt up, I think the spring pads are further apart. GM 10 bolt front axles are not a bad axle, but the D44 is better. It you just want 8 lug up front, put the spindles, rotors & hubs and caliper brackets from the 10 bolt on your D44. They bolt right up. The calipers and locking hubs are the same. The 10 bolt outer axles are the same too so I would save them. The inner axles are different. I have a '70 K-20 and I got all of my disc brake conversion off of a '79, 3/4 ton, sub 10 bolt.
