Did some sound deadening on the new tank, both sides and the back of cab. Anything helps....
Also new sock on pump and replaced the inline filter. Old tank was nasty, I really think clean fuel is gona help a lot.

After doing 80% of the interior of my mega cab in sound deadener I’m 100% on board with the benefits.

Well after I slid the cam in I realized the gasket in the retainer plate was pretty flattened. First couple drives I realized oil pressure was pretty low, low enough to make the lifters noisy. Pulled the front apart 
put anew plate in and a new oil pump while I was in there. Pegging the oil pressure gauge now and sounds much better!

Well I did some trading last weekend. Got old blue back and a 72 K5. Orange truck will be well taken care of and most likely make a return someday

Not sure to like that post or not.
4 blowouts would make for a long trip. Apparently some old or really cheap tires.
I’m going to miss seeing updates on the orange truck.

Camaro has been a current project of mine in its second life. It’s all back together and gets driven often.
