Just bought a 1972 GMC Jimmy and it has no parking / turn signal lights in the front. The lights I'm referring to are the one directly under the double headlights. I am able to find both the amber and clear lenses, but not the actual assembly. Anyone know where to look? I have the wiring for the sockets, but no sockets. Thanks all in advance.

Welcome to the site, Post some pics of that new truck when you get the chance. We love pictures around these parts:waytogo:

Also, post a picture of what you do and dont have in that area, I have an extra complete bumper with the lights still intact along with an extra grill. So i probably have what you need. Just let me know.

Quit stealing my buisnesss, ha ha. Just kidding.

Yeah, LMC probably has repro ones that will be much nicer and more shiny than the ones i have.

The gm ones are just as good. The light socket portion is replaceable so theres no reason to buy new ones if used ones are available cheaper. :)

You're lucky.... There should be plenty of good boneyards in the Salinas area to get parts from cheaply. While it's true that places like LMC offer almost every part for these trucks as a reproduction, the quality is rarely as good as the originals were and it will cost you a fortune to buy every small piece/part that way.

:usaflag:

Couldn't find any locally or online (only able to find the the lenses, but not the housings). Ended up getting them from a business up in Fremont who stocks a whole lotta parts for older Chevy/GM trucks.

I like the jimmy, not sure why though:rolleyes:

last set I got was from a junkyard
It kind of grows on you. Wasn't a big fan of the red, but I'm warming up to it. Had chrome rims when I got it and no top. I still like it topless, but needed something to keep the kids from blowing away when they ride in the back. I scoured the junkyards and couldn't find those parklights. Lots of Chevy's to be found, but didn't look like they'd fit.
