1973-1974 Grill Emblems Available While They Last

Thing is, I don't know how long Key Parts will make them, they could stop at any time...depending on sales they may not renew GM license to make them. I believe that's what happened to the Grille they were making. They broke the tool that makes them or had to break it. At any rate, Im not taking any chances..I got one and it is GM authorized and who knows when they wont be available...not likely that they will ever be available again.

I bet they never make the grille again.

I had used a NOS '73 grille on my truck, so mine's in great shape still. But I ordered one anyway just in case it needs replaced in 20 years.

All it takes is to hit one bird and you will be replacing your grill. I will be looking for a good grill that I can clean and paint and will have the new Emblem to put it on.

Also, if you don't use it, it is a part you can get your money back out of because they won't be selling these in a few years.

So is it a good piece?

Yeah, it looks factory. Has no adhesive on back, you have to add that. This weekend I will hold it side by side with NOS one and see if there are any minor differences.

I looked at the bowtie on the grill of the 73 C10 this morning and decided it could use an update so I went ahead and ordered one of these.

I've seen new parts become available for the 1973-74 and then not be available as little as 3 years later
