Im looking to start rebuilding my 74 and wanted to see if anyone had any doors free of rust.

TIA.

EDIT: Rust free might be a stretch, the cleaner the better.

Why don't you just find a nice pair of truck doors, cut the window frame and box in the one hole and buy the end caps from LMC?

Thats what GM did back in the day.

Thats the other avenue I will go down if I cant find doors. I think I'll post up some pics of my ride tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice.

Found a set and for a great price.

Those are straight, nice find.

Thanks guys :bow::bow::bow:

I've been really lucky finding these. Not sure what year these came off of because they have power windows. One of the motors is shot, but he's including a spare.

The price, $60 for the both + shipping :eek1: They are on there way here barring some unforeseen incident.

I dont want to jinx myself because the seller has been great.

They will be going on this rig.

be careful gents, I have known a couple of guys who have cut down pickup doors and sold them as full vert doors . Since they typically sell for more

Full vert doors have some extra bracing below the door cap, if the bracing is not there they are not original full vert doors.

Power windows is one of those indicators. Always have them send you a pic of both sides of the door. The inside door panels never get changed so you would usually know right away if they are late model doors or if they are true full vert doors.

Main reason I say this is cause you never know how precise the cuts were when someone else cut down some doors vs if you do it

Gonna agree, and based on the pic's of the doors you didn't get they were late model doors. 88-91 body side molding, later model mirrors, not even any holes for the normal aluminum trim the '70's models came with. The power window thing is the icing on the cake.

I have 3 real full-vert Blazer doors I want to sell. I'll get pics later tonight, as the photos are currently on my wife's cell phone. :doah: Don't know if you'd be interested, though, because I'm in Reno, NV.

Here's the scoop: I have 2 complete matching doors minus door keys and window crank handles (the crank and all that is there, just not the actual part that you grab with your hand). One of the doors has a bit of rust in the bottom of it. These two doors, the previous owner cut out holes in the bottom interior for installing speakers. I have a 3rd door that is just a shell which is rust free. I'm planning to try to sell the three locally so as to not have to swap components over, but if you were interested, I could ship and could swap parts so you'd only have 2 doors shipped to you.

I would consider these doors to be in "build-able" condition. To me that means: They're nearly perfectly straight, are operable, have nearly all parts, etc., but the paint is ugly and beat up. Basically, they're in a condition to be easily fixed up and made to suit your truck.

Anyway, I'll post the pics later tonight. Not sure what they're worth, so we could talk that out.

Rubber caps above wing windows are in good shape. Don't really know what to ask for these or how much it would cost to ship...
