Hey everybody im in need of a passenger side Quarter Panel for my 1973 k5 if somebody has one weather it used or a new one doesn't matter actually used would be fine. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Dave

These are what youre looking for. Im waiting for them to be available as well.

I am still waiting on these to come back into stock. I talked to Classic Industries a few weeks ago and they said it would be a year+ at a minimum but they couldn’t say for sure. I asked if they could contact the manufacturer and they said no.
Edit: I talked to Classic Industries today and they said they may never come back in stock.
Anyone have a source for these back panels?

I still had to modify the ones they said were for 1973, 1974 (from LMC). I had to move the bracing to make it fit right on my 1974.
I did not realize that they were un-obtainable.

I put 81 quarters out of a junk yard on my 74. The B pillar mounting was different and took some fab to make it work. Mind you this was in 97 before the obsession began. I bought the whole bed section and removed the Qtrs. Unfortunately I used the gas door of the era. Didn’t care at the time. They can be made to work but I wish I had grafted in the correct gas hole without the gas door at the time.
Now it’s hard to even get that section of a Qtr panel to convert to the correct gas hole and cap. Hard to find any factory metal in my area these days.

Hey Guys sorry i never posted my progress. So it took months but I found a set of quarter panels for my k5 and with the help of my friend {super talented}we got the passenger quarter and rocker replaced. still a ton of work. And still amazed how little rust there is on the truck.blazer 1.jpgIMG_0487.jpgIMG_0804.jpgIMG_0805.jpg but it came out great.

Looks great! Those remanufactured panels. Who originally offered them, do you know? (LMC, Classic Industries, ?)

Same other than the roof support added for 76.
Little mod work that’s all. Otherwise I’ll come get it.

Response from AutoMetalDirect.com

"At this point there are none available. We just learned that the ones that have been on the market for years have recently dried up (we’ve never carried them). We don’t have any in the works just yet (like I said, we JUST found that out) so we’re discussing it now. Nothing is set in stone though, so I wouldn’t hold my breath. We already have a ton of other stuff in development so even if we kicked it off today, it would probably be 2+ years before we had them.

My personal guess would be if we did any, it would be the ’76-91s simply due to numbers and development/tooling costs. But we’ll see."

I’ve reached out to the seller letting him know I want it. Thanks for the guidance.
That is what mine looked like same thing just a little fab work and you’ll be fine guy I got mine from had them sitting in Shop for over 20 years right place at the right time.

Pretty much how it is working out for me. I’m moving my kid to college 10 hours away from home.

Caught wind of this panel an hour from where we are.

Some times things just work out.

I picked up that fender today. Here is the sticker on the inside. Any idea who the source company would be?

When are you looking to start? there is a panel inside I recommend removing to get to a hidden bolt makes it much easier rite inside behind the b post its a lot of spot welds to drill out but will be worth it. Ill get a pic and post when im home.
