1974 Blazer Fresno California >>SOLD<<

I would be interested in a trade too. Ill put up some more pics soon. try to get some of the rebuilt tranny and t-case.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pics, brother.

I was telling Kim about this truck, and I got the whole ":surepal: - you're gonna go all the way to California to buy a truck from a CK5er AGAIN????". I told her she could come this time......:rotfl:

It all boils down to pics and price.

You can see from the pics the truck is clean. The only thing wrong is there are some holes in the back where a tire carrier used to be. Its been repainted but the guy assured me there was no body work done. He seemed like an honest guy and the trim was never removed to paint it. You can see they just tapped it off and shot it. Notice the rockers have no cancer and they have very light surface rust. I can't believe I haven't sold it yet. I paid 7k for it last year. This truck is a really clean survivor. I drove it from Sacramento to Fresno at 70 mph and it ran great. It has really nothing needed. If I didn't loose interest I would keep it, but I just dont drive it.

Wow. That is one clean rig!!!!!!!! Thanks for taking the extra pics......

I'm working on Kim, but it's a little bit of a hard sell given that a $5500 USD truck ends up costing about $8000 CDN when you take the exchange rate, import taxes, airfare, gas, and out-of-province inspection into consideration..........:doah:

Leave it with me for a wee bit, brother. Let me see what I can do to convince the missus this is a good deal. BTW, don't feel bad about it not selling- I just sold my pretty much mint 89 V3500 for $6000. I could have waited for an $8K buyer to come along, but it wasn't in anybody's best interest to have a beautiful truck sitting around.

I feel your pain. You're in the same boat I was in a couple of months ago. You don't HAVE to sell it, but you don't NEED it anymore, so you may as well sell it to someone who will use it.

Don't be too obvious about your intentions now. :haha:

Yeah I dont want it to sit and collect dust. I really just want to get close to what its worth. I hear what your saying about 8k. But hey I have 9k into it, so your still getting a deal. Im a little negotiable on the price so make me an offer.

Paul, if you end up buying this rig and i'm able to drive to Yuba City when you're here i would love to meet you and also you icebone. :thumb:

I actually just moved to Fresno. Havent changed my profile...

Well change it already damn it. :D

Either way, if Paul buys it and i'm able to make the drive to Fresno i'd like to meet both of you. I've met just about everyone that is local enough to me already.

I see your point, Scott, but I think you know what I'm trying to say. It sucks having no use for an awesome rig, and to keep it "just because" is kind of silly when you know there are people out there who will take it off your hands for a fair dollar AND treat it with the same respect as you. That's exactly what happened with the V3500- I knew Byron would love it as much as I did, and that was worth a certain amount of money to me, whether it sounds silly or not....

BTW, if I ever ended up close to you, it would be GREAT to meet you, brother. You're one of the driving forces behind this site, and to shake your hand would be a great honor.

Icebone: I'm not the kind of guy to lowball someone, because I hate it when people do it to me. I'm pretty sure that you have a minimum price in mind, so to avoid all the BS haggling, which bugs me as much as a lowball offer, why not shoot me a PM and we'll see if we can work something out. BTW, sorry for all the hijacks. But at least I'm bumping your thread to the top........:rotfl:

Meet all three of us! If he comes down to Fresno I'll meet up with you all...

Hey its no prob. Im just glad someones interested. Im blown away on the little amount of interest i've had. I just want to sell the thing. Want to start looking for something else and with this in my only toy spot, I have no choice but to wait.
