I was lucky enough to get my hands on a 1974 Chevrolet Truck Data Book which is what the dealership used for sales.

I am thumbing through and I find this. Imagine my surprise!

According to my 73s build sheet the hard top was the option. The soft top was the standard equipment
 
Wow, I have never seen one with "woodgrained" trim. Not ever.
 
Very cool! I guess the hard top was more desirable? Since its rare to see anyone with the factory softies?

I doubt that any of the soft tops survived at all. But I would be willing to bet that somewhere....somewhere there a new in the box Whitco Blazer soft top somewhere..

There has to be something like that somewhere. It would be the holy grail for the full vert dudes. I have faith that there are awesome finds still hiding out there for us.
