Does anybody have a picture or photo from a brochure or anything that shows a 1974 K5 emblem in factory condition?

I am trying to figure out exactly what areas are supposed to be Black and which areas are "chrome"....

This set is very faded out and there is black on the edges, but I am not sure it is supposed to be....and the area in between the "K" and the "5"...is that suppose to be black or chrome?

I stripped down my badges but there was black on the edges but it was obvious the edges were supposed to be chrome I will see if I have any old pics of them

I've got a set off a 1974 which I believe from one of your previous posts you identified as being from the Cheyenne model. On close inspection with a magnifying glass I can see traces of black on the edges around the K, the 5, the bar in the middle. There are also traces of black in the recessed parts around the K, the 5 and on the plate around the outside of letters BLAZER. The inside of the letters BLAZER are obviously yellow or maybe ochre as someone suggested. The very top and bottom edges of the K, 5, bar, and plate all appear to have been black. I can't post photos here but if you'll send me an email in a pm I'll send you some of mine which by the way are for sale.
