Hey Guys, I am posting this for a friend in Illinois who is looking to sell.

It is a '75 so it is the last year of the full removable hardtop (like on Red Dawn

)
Leaves the windshield and a rollbar

It has:

OHV Eight-cylinder 350 cid. (160) @ 3800 rpm
Edelbrock 4 barrel carb
New complete Painless wiring harness
new front locking hubs
new exhaust from brand new headers back
Rebuilt transmission and transfer case
new U joints
new ignition
original 8 track player
minor rust - not very bad at all considering its age
rear tow hitch (body welded sort)

It needs:

rear end needs rebuilt
transmission is acting funny - was done by Midas so probably could go back but I refuse to deal with our local Midas anymore
Basic cleanup and minor dash parts reinstalled

It drives - but because of the rear end is not really overly safe to drive right now and has no reverse (see above transmission issues)

I am asking EDIT: $2000

Here are some things that I have asked about it as well as assumptions I have made:

It probabably has a D44/12bolt axles, so if the rear needs rebuilt - they are pretty common.

It has an NP203 which has the MM conversion to part time and has lock out hubs now.

I have not laid eyes on it, so you may want to check the known areas of rust, and expect some - but not a ton. Normally a Blazer of this year has zero rocker and quarter left, way before the rear tailgate brace goes. This is not completely the case, but IN MOST CASES.

Assume TH350 trans because of the year and t-case.

Email Brett for info: tascabe (at) gmail dot com

I will check this periodically, but questions would be quicker answered via email to Brett.

I'm interested depending on where it's located in IL. Sometimes that's still over 5 hrs. away. Thanks, Jason

I think it is in Glen Carbon - just outside of St. Louis. Email Brett for directions.
