Yeah I agree with scrapping that 3 fingered pressure plate,after I had 3 of them that failed right out of the box (Borg-Warner rebuilts) within a month on normal street driving..
Diaphram ones are much more reliable and way easier on your left leg too..my K5 ,you could feel the body lift up off the mounts some when you put the clutch in ,with those 12" 3 fingered pressure plates...first time I stepped on the clutch pedal with the 11" diaphram pressure plate I thought something was wrong,it pushed in so easy !..
