Is there any major issue with swapping axles from a 1975 Blazer to my 1991 1500 Suburban? The burban currently has one tons that I want to steal for another project and I am trying to find some cheap axles to toss under the burban for now. It appears it should be a fairly simple swap, but I here the experts are on this site.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Axles will be a direct swap with the exception of the rearr u-joint and possibility of rear driveshaft length being that the pinion nose of the 14bff is longer than a 12 bolt. Also unless the 1 ton axles were swapped under the burb they aren't 1 ton axles.

The axles were swapped in from a military truck, but it was many moons ago. I know I had to do both custom driveshafts when it was done, but couldnt remember if it was due to axles, or lift and 37s.

Thanks for insight. Hopefully I can pick up the 75 axles and get the Burban back out and get my other SAS project going by spring.
